Referral Biography
Robert Pramann, PhD, ABPP, TEP. Dr. Pramann (“Rob”) graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA in 1977 and with a Ph.D. from the Clinical Psychology program at Western Conservative Baptist Seminary in 1986. He completed a pre-doctoral Internship at Philhaven Hospital. He received his certification as a “Certified Practitioner” of Psychodrama in 1997 and as a “Trainer, Educator and Practitioner” in 2001 both from the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy, and "ABPP (Group Psychology)" in 2015 from the American Board of Professional Psychology. In 2010 he was named a “Fellow” by the American Society for Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama and appointed as an executive editor for the Journal of Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy.
Rob has been at Christian Counseling Centers of Utah since 1989 and Clinical Director since 1993. He is the Director of CCCU’s Psychodrama Training Program, an Adjunct Instructor in Psychiatry, Volunteer Auxiliary Faculty, University of Utah, School of Medicine, and a mental health member of the volunteer Utah Critical Incident Stress Management Team (CISM). His professional interests include applications of psychodrama, the treatment of psychological trauma and spiritual/faith related issues. He, in addition to his ongoing work at CCCU, currently provides group psychodrama sessions for a Drug and Alcohol program , Journey Healing Centers (residential).
