Referral Biography
Dr. Serpas is a licensed psychologist whose private practice is committed exclusively to assessment and consultation. She has trained and practiced in Salt Lake area since 1995. Dr. Serpas completed her internship in Child and Pediatric Psychology at Primary Children’s Medical Center and completed a 2-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Neuropsychology at the Neurology, Learning, and Behavior Center in Salt Lake City.
The assessment process, as practiced by Dr. Serpas, is very in-depth and is designed to better understand and identify your child’s unique learning style and optimize the learning experience. Areas of expertise include disorders of Executive Functioning including AD/HD, ADD, and Learning Disorders such as Dyslexia, and Psychological conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Information can be empowering and demystifying for both the parent and child.
