Looking for a fun way to connect with fellow psychologists and enjoy Utah's beautiful winter landscape? Join us on Saturday, February 22, 2025, for a snowshoeing event at the stunning Swaner Preserve in Park City!
Event Details:
When
Saturday, February 22nd at 1:00pm
Who
Up to 40 adults (Swaner needs final numbers in advance so registration will close on Friday, February 12th). **Due to limited space, we ask that each UPA member bring at most one guest (who needs to be registered as they will count toward the 40 spots).
Please note that this is a UPA Member Event and thus at this point only members are able to register at this time. If you are not a member of UPA but are interested in attending, please email Deb at Deb.Elliott-DeSorbo@uhsinc.com who will maintain a waitlist and will let you know on 2/13 if there is space available as we would love to have you join us!
Where
The wetlands of the Swaner Preserve
- We will start your tour from the EcoCenter
- There is no parking lot directly in front of the EcoCenter. If you have a difficult time finding us, you can search for Maxwell’s. We are located in the same plaza as the restaurant. Additional information about parking can be found here.
What to wear and bring
We will be snowshoeing on uneven but flat terrain: please come prepared with warm, waterproof hiking shoes or boots, snow pants, a hat, gloves, appropriate layers for the weather, water bottle, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Snowshoes are included in the cost of the tour! (Deb’s note: if you’re kind of clumsy like me, you may well fall on your butt so be prepared for that!).
Additional info:
Payment
- The cost of the tour is $15/person. Please submit payment with registration.
Participants will need to complete a waiver prior to the tour. This will be sent prior to the tour.
