I admire your gumption to get to this test event. It must really show how much you love supporting Utah Psychology. Good on you! The main purpose of this test event is to allow UPA to work out the process of generating CE certificates directly from the UPA website itself. Pretty cool, eh! You betcha!!
We are hoping that members of the UPA board are willing to register for this totally fake event and build up a faux registration list. From there, we are going to test out sending out CE certificates sent directly from the site.
FAQ
Is this a real CE event?
Heck no! This is not a real event. The CE certificate will be a templated email to see how it looks. Suitable for framing, but not genuine. It is kind of like one of those programs where you can purchase a square foot of ground in Scotland and technically you are a "Lord" or "Lady" because you are now a landowner. Those extravagant tapestries really suit you!
What do I do with the CE Certificate?
Since this is a first of its kind for UPA, you might as well print and frame it. Maybe put it into you safe or time capsule, because future generations of psychologists will be asking, "What was it like for those ancient psychologists to actually print on paper?" And boom, there is the proof. That may give them some solace before they need to go get the AI Psychologists some fresh quantum power cubes before afternoon sessions. So, you are really doing a favor for humanity. Good job!
Great! How can I help?
Well, it is pretty easy. Just register for the event for the low, low price of 0$. Also, be willing to receive a few emails of the same certificate, and perhaps a link to a Microsoft form as a rating of how much you loved this sham CE event. So, if you think about it, the cost is a bit of your patience and willingness to endure some nonsense periodically. And you only have yourself to blame, after all you have read this far in this FAQ. It is really showing something about you. Facts.
